Installation of Kinleys
Please join us on Sunday, July 27 at 9:00 AM for a special worship service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church & School, as we celebrate the installation of:
Daniel Kinley as Associate Pastor
Stephanie Kinley as Deaconess to serve as School Counselor
This meaningful service will be followed by a reception in the Welcome Center, and we warmly invite you to stay and celebrate with us.
Prior to this, Daniel will be ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry on Sunday, July 13 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Richmond, Virginia.
Daniel and Stephanie have accepted their divine calls to Holy Cross with joy, thanksgiving, and eager hearts to serve God and His people within our congregation. We give thanks to God for His faithful provision and look forward to this new chapter of ministry together.
Daniel & Stephanie’s family includes: Akasha, Michael (5th Grade), Emmeline (1st Grade)
In 2021, four months after marrying his wife, Stephanie, he moved to Fort Wayne and began attending CTSFW for his Master’s of Divinity degree. Daniel also began his fieldwork assignment at St. John Flatrock at this time, where he provided weekly liturgical assistance to Pastor Douglas Christian, as well as shut-in visitation, Bible Study teaching, and other duties as assigned. In his third year at the seminary, he completed his fieldwork and began his vicarage, where he was assigned to St. John, Columbia City.
Stephanie was Holy Cross' Deaconess Intern this past year having served our church as a VBS teacher & director, oversight to the meal ministry, diaconal counseling, written curriculum and taught an Equipping Hour class. She also taught our 6th Grade Confirmation classes and 9th Grade Faith Stepping Stones Workshop. As HC's school counselor, Stephanie has written curriculum and taught religion in all 18 classrooms (K-8th Grade) and provides ongoing individual, group, and crisis counseling to all students.
