Community Impact
Holy Cross was able to support our own Lutheran school students, New Life Lutheran Church and Kings Global Outreach through the donations of school supplies in the month of July. Here how both New Life & Kings Global were able to use the supplies for a local impact in our community.

Thank you so much for your generosity and buying school supplies for our students! We have been able to make sure students have exactly what they need to be successful in their classroom. New supplies can be very exciting for students, and you have helped them start out the year in a positive way! I am thankful for your continued prayers and support of our school.

Dear members of Holy Cross,
Thank you for your generous donations of school supplies and gift cards for our Back-to-School Fair at New Life Lutheran Church on August 2nd. We give thanks to God for your partnership in serving families in the Harvester and McCormick neighborhoods and members of our Burmese community through this event. An increased number of Muslim families came to the event this year, so your gifts helped us increase our outreach to this large mission field right here in Fort Wayne. Many of the parents who came told us they didn’t know what they would have done for school supplies without our backpack giveaway, so they were very thankful. With your help we were able to distribute school supplies to 268 children, which impacted a total of 90 families. We also gave out over 120 Children’s Bibles and New Testaments to our guests. God bless you for helping us share the love of Jesus with our neighbors.

Kings Global Outreach's Back to School Giveaways took place on July 28 & 29. We want to thank our Holy Cross partners who donated, volunteered, and prayed to make each outreach opportunity successful. We served over 320 children.
