HISTORY
STARTED IN 1945
HC was born amidst a spirit of optimism that accompanied the end of Great Depression economic stagnation and World War II. At a time when North Anthony Boulevard ended at Crescent Avenue, Coliseum Boulevard did not yet exist, and Charlotte Avenue marked the northern Fort Wayne city limits, St. Paul's Lutheran Church purchased a ten-acre tract of land for $8,000. Rev. Henry J. Eggold served as our founding pastor.

We have been rooted in Fort Wayne for 75 years and have been blessed with growth in mission, ministry and membership. Join us in prayer for our future as we continue to look forward to ministry in the coming years.
