Here are several camps available this summer in the area.
- Concordia Elementary School Summer Camp Program
June 5 - August 4, 8:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
This summer camp program is for children who turn five by July 1 through those entering 6th grade. We will be open from Extended care will be open before and after sessions. The cost will be $115 per week. Any child may attend from one to all nine weeks or by the day. The daily rate is $30 per day. This cost will include teachers, 2 snacks, field trips, swimming activities, crafts, and service projects. Each week will be a different theme. 2017 School of Health Sciences Summer Camp
June 6-7, 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. each day
Discover the career opportunities that exist in the world of healthcare. During this two-day camp, students will participate in hands-on activities that will introduce them to the principles behind various healthcare professions, including nursing, physical therapy, social work, surgery, radiology, nutrition, kinesiology and more. Students must be going into 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grade in the fall of 2017 to attend. This camp is offered by the University of St. Francis.
“Art in the Morning” youth program
July 10 through July 28 (three-week term), 9 – 11:30 a.m.
Art in the Morning is a three-week summer youth art program for first through eighth graders, offered by SOCA. Area art teachers and Art Education majors will instruct children in drawing, painting, printmaking, multimedia and ceramics. This camp is offered by the University of St. Francis.
Camps range from sports to computers to band and drama, for students of all ages. And if you're looking to get ahead on your classes, sign up for one of our Academic programs. Classes are available onsite or online. Students from all schools in grades 8-12 are welcome.
Come dig deep into God's Word as we explore our summer theme "GO" based on Mark 16:15, Christ's call to all Christians to spread the Good News of Salvation to the whole world. - Divorce Care for Kids Camp
Mondays & Thursdays, June 19 through August 3, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Cross Connections is offering a Divorce Care for Kids camp for children grades K - 6th. This group will provide a safe and fun place for children to face issues of divorce.
