Pastor Neubacher's Retirement

As “Pastor of Care,” Pastor Mark Neubacher has spent his entire fifteen-year pastoral career helping us see our Savior Jesus Christ in many of the most significant moments of our lives. He announced last October his intention to retire from full-time ministry on October 31st, 2018, and will assume a role of “modified service” at Holy Cross.

At the 10:30 a.m. worship service on October 21st we will celebrate and thank God for the years of pastoral care given faithfully by Pastor Neubacher. Communion will be celebrated at the Saturday, Sunday 8:15 a.m., and Monday services that weekend.

Pastor Richard Koehneke will be preaching at this special retirement service. Recently retired District President Daniel May also will be present to share some words. A reception of “hearty hors d’oeuvres” honoring Pastor and Barb will follow the Sunday 10:30 a.m. worship service in the Welcome Center.
