Community Partnerships

American Red Cross:  Along with being designated by the Red Cross as a disaster relief shelter, we assist them with community projects. HC hosts two blood drives each year.

Associated Churches:  Holy Cross is a member of the Associated Churches and participates in their Rising Stars program.

Cross Border Partners:   This outreach was started by a few members of Holy Cross and now has volunteers from various churches throughout the area.  They collect furniture, household items, clothes, appliances which are shared with people in the community and around the world who are in need.  260.484.8580

Life House Food Ministry: Holy Cross supports our neighborhood food pantry through monthly collections of food and other supplies. Lifehouse Church (used to be Forest Park UMC) has a food pantry that is open every Tuesday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM which serves those living in the 46805 zip code. A wide variety of food items are available on a regular basis.  It is not uncommon for them to provide food for 1,000 people per month. Get connected by serving on Tuesdays or Saturdays. Contact Lowell Teska for more info at lteska@gmail.com or visit our Facebook page to stay updated on current group events.

Lewis A. King Community Outreach: This group meets weekly on Sundays @ 2 p.m. for Bible study and planning monthly community projects at King's Barbershop & Community Center (502 E. Pontiac). Contact Pastor Lewis A. King for more info at laking@holycrossfw.org. Visit our Facebook page to stay updated on current group events.

New Life Lutheran Church Holy Cross assists New Life Lutheran Church by helping with Wednesday night meals and collecting school supplies which are then given to underprivileged children and the Burmese children in the Harvester community.
