Meet Our New Librarian

At the beginning of the year, we welcomed a new librarian to our school.

Delaney Cole, who has volunteered at the library since 2013, graduated from IPFW with a degree in history and has plans to pursue a master’s degree in library science. She found out about the position from the previous librarian (Mrs. Isca), who approached her while she was still a volunteer and asked her about her interest in the job.

She has worked as a summer camp counselor, a parking attendant at the Coliseum and at Meijer. Besides working at Holy Cross, she also works at Tim Hortons two days a week as a baker.

Miss Cole hopes to inspire students in the library with her love for books. “I am looking forward to developing my skills as a future librarian and getting to help the students nurture their love for reading and helping the older students hone their research skills.”

Miss Cole is no stranger to the area. Born in Fort Wayne, she currently resides in Leo and is getting married on April 22nd. Miss Cole loves dogs and has a weimaraner named Ozzy who keeps her on her toes.

Please help us welcome Miss Cole to Holy Cross! Miss Cole needs some help on Tuesday mornings with putting books back on the shelves and check out. If you are interested, please contact Miss Cole at dcole@holycrossfw.org.
