As we prepare for the 2018-19 school year, we are taking applications for elementary level teachers . We are looking for Lutheran teachers who are strong in their Christian faith, understand the need for relationships with children and families, and are committed to academic excellence. In addition to seeking nominations from the congregation, we are consulting with the LCMS Indiana District for candidates. Please email names and resumes to email@example.com.
Please pray for the following teachers as they transition to new adventures next year.
Mrs. Frerking has enjoyed teaching fifth grade, but will not continue in this role at Holy Cross next school year. She needs a flexible work schedule so she can spend more time in Canada supporting her aging parents. She is exploring part-time options to work as an instructional coach and/or take a masters in Curriculum & Instruction.
Mrs. Albertin will be retiring at the end of this school year. She has taught fourth grade at Holy Cross for 20 years. She is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends and volunteering in the community and at Holy Cross. Mrs. Albertin is thankful to God for the privilege of serving Him at Holy Cross and will miss all of the wonderful people she has shared the teaching ministry with during her time here.
Mrs. Keller will not be returning as a first grade teacher for the next school year. She will be staying home with her two young daughters. She has loved her time working at Holy Cross, especially getting to know the students and their families. Being part of the staff has been an enjoyable experience, knowing she has made life-long friendships.
