Eat Chicken and Support Our Music Program

The Chicken Dinner Fundraiser for Holy Cross is coming up on October 7 from 4:30-7:00 pm in the cafeteria.

A new dine-in menu will include salad bar, cheesy scalloped potatoes, and delicious homemade desserts. Adult tickets are $8.00 and children ten and under are $5.00. Chicken only in the drive-through is $6.00. Enjoy a dessert auction and special entertainment, including our brass ensemble, piano soloists, and first grade singers.

This fundraiser is an important part of providing music opportunities for Holy Cross students. Besides supporting our K-5th grade music education program, the fundraiser makes possible the Angelis and Junior Choirs and the 5th grade and Crusader bands. These groups provide special music in our worship services and give almost 500 students the opportunity to develop their musical skills.

In the past, the event has raised funds for instrument storage lockers, risers for the music room and sanctuary (2014), new folders for the Angelis and Junior Choirs (2015), and percussion equipment.

Dr. Patricia Cotton, who organizes the chicken fundraiser adds, “We need this evening to be a major fundraiser complete with joyful generosity not only for our music department of the church, but also for our mission-rich school. The dinner is delicious and provides an opportunity to raise money doing what you have to do anyway—eating.”

Join us on Friday, October 7 for our Chicken Dinner Fundraiser and support the arts in our church and school. Tickets available at the church and school offices and at the door.
