Crusader Run is Next Week!
Date: Friday, September 22th (rain date October 6th).
Time: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Description: During the event all of our students (preschool to 8th grade), teachers, and staff will have 30 minutes to walk or run as many laps as they can in our parking lot. Volunteers count their laps and report the results. Prior to the event, each student gathers pledges from family and friends per lap or as flat rate, and the results are then used to collect pledges. 2017 Goal - Technology & Continue Updating Lockers! This year’s goal is to raise money for technology and to continue upgrading the lockers for our students. More of our curriculum requires technology access. Additional iPads are needed to replace aging ones as well as items like Sphero Robots and VR headsets to enhance student learning. The lockers our 4th through 8th graders use are very old and in need of repair. With new lockers, we will continue to give our students better, more reliable equipment and will be improving the look and feel of the halls.
Challenge: If the whole school raises $20,000 for Crusader Run, Principal Chandler will stay on the roof for one whole school day!
Middle School Boys vs. Girls Battle: If the girls raise the most money, the two who have raised the most will throw pies in the faces of Chad & Phil. If the boys raise the most money, then the two who have raised the most will throw pies in the faces of Tama & Jen.
