Our Color Guards of the past have been outstanding (2012 State Runner-Up with the Marching Cadets and STATE CHAMPIONS IN 2013), and we are looking forward to maintaining that tradition. Tryouts are Monday through Thursday, April 23-26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the CLHS gym. Come and enjoy God's gift of music and dance. No previous experience necessary. Parent/student meeting that Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the CLHS band room.

Drumline Auditions: Have you ever thought about being on the drumline? All drummers of every ability level are welcome, and if you have any other background of music, piano, and/or singing in choir, YOU ALSO can be a part of our 2018 drumline! Join us on Thursday, May 3 from 6-8 p.m. in the band room for audition and workshop. Taylor Brinneman, the drumline instructor, will be there. Join us!

Join us for Fine Arts Week events: The arts play a major role in child development, even for high school youth. The Arts teach much in addition to academic skill: responsibility, commitment, working with a team, and many more. These are the skills for which employers are looking. The Arts at Concordia are outstanding and growing! Concordia will celebrate the Fine Arts during the week of April 24. Events during the week include the SERVING Bowls Fundraiser on April 19 at 5 p.m. and the Comedy Festival on April 20 at 7 p.m. at the Cinema Center in downtown Fort Wayne. The week will end with a Grand Celebration on April 22 from 12:30-3:30 p.m., along with the Lutheran elementary art and music featured that afternoon, too. Rehearsal will last from 1-2 p.m., and concert will take place from 2-3 p.m., featuring the elementary choirs and instrumentalists. The CLHS and elementary art show will be open from 12:30-3:30 p.m. in all the halls and PFC at CLHS.
