American Red Cross: Along with being designated by the Red Cross as a disaster relief shelter, we assist them with community projects. HC hosts two blood drives each year.
Associated Churches: Holy Cross is a member of the Associated Churches and participates in their Rising Stars program.
Cross Border Partners: This outreach was started by a few members of Holy Cross and now has volunteers from various churches throughout the area. Life House Forest Park Food Pantry: Holy Cross supports our neighborhood food pantry through monthly collections of food and other supplies. Forest Park UMC has a food pantry that is open every Tuesday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM which serves those living in the 46805 zip code. A wide variety of food items are available on a regular basis. It is not uncommon for them to provide food for 1,000 people per month. Get connected by serving on Tuesdays or Saturdays. New Life Lutheran Church Holy Cross assists New Life Lutheran Church by helping with Wednesday night meals and collecting school supplies which are then given to underprivileged children and the Burmese children in the Harvester community.
Worship Anew is a weekly, 30-minute Lutheran broadcast worship service produced by Lutheran Ministries Media. Each service includes music, scripture readings, prayers, and a Lutheran pastor delivering a message that is designed to feel one-on-one to the viewer. This program can be viewed locally and online.
