Here
at Holy Cross, traditional church membership is
translated into something we call Partnership.
The idea comes from Philippians 1.5 where the
Apostle Paul is grateful to God for the people
of Philippi
“because of your partnership in the Gospel.”
The word “in” here means into
or for the sake of the Gospel.
The
New Partner process is a 90-day journey of discovery
and development. It
includes online doctrinal training and interactive
conversation events called Partnership Cafes.
The goal of the process is to invite spiritual
inquirers into active, vital partnership with
the living God and His Church, and to equip them
specifically to thrive
and prosper toward faithful partnership at Holy
Cross.
If
you are interested in becoming a partner of Holy
Cross, join us for the
Orientation Meeting on Wednesday, February 15
at 6:30 pm in the Welcome Center. The Spring
2012 Partnership Cafes are on Wednesday evenings
from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Welcome Center on the
following dates: Feb 29, Mar 14 &
28, Apr 11 & 25 and May 9.
Childcare is available during
the Partnership Cafes and Orientation Meeting.
Our new partners will be welcomed during
the worship service on Sunday, May 20.
